3/24/2022: Mark shares via Discord more information on the band's earliest demos.

7/7/2022: Rumors begin to cycle regarding a potential blink-182 headlining spot at Lollapalooza in Brazil.

7/16/2022: In a comment on his Instagram profile, Matt Skiba suggests he is not sure whether or not he remains in the band: "your guess is as good as mine," he writes to a fan.

8/1/2022: 

  • On the band’s thirtieth birthday, intense online speculation about the future of the band prompts Mark to respond.

  • A DJ at Q101 in Chicago makes an unprompted announcement that Tom is indeed back with the band.

8/17/2022: Mark states that he's open to whatever the next phase of the band may be.

10/2/2022: Jason Tate, longtime industry insider, fuels speculation that the band is planning a large comeback tour in a newsletter.

10/4/2022: Staff at Q101 doubles down on the Blink rumors, confirming the band is indeed back together and playing the United Center in Chicago.

10/7/2022: The band's social media pages and website are wiped, with the latter displaying a "Hard at Work" construction theme.

10/8/2022: Blink-182 billboards begin popping up in South America, showcasing a new band logo. The same day, posters and sponsored ads for an “edging” company called 182 Industries appear in several cities and online.

10/11/2022: The band officially announces a reunion of their classic lineup — Tom, Mark, and Travis — and a worldwide tour, with stints in North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. The band also deliver several teaser images and clips, including on TikTok. The band also announce a new album, which Tom proclaims as their best yet, and new single, “Edging”.
