2001
YEAR IN REVIEW: Blink record and release their fourth album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, which is similarly successful to its predecessor. Touring, TV appearances. Cracks begin to show, however, after a contentious recording process and back injury lead Tom to explore other opportunities on an experimental recording project, titled Box Car Racer.
1/2001-3/2001 (undated): Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is recorded at Signature Sound in San Diego, and Larrabee Studios West and Cello Studios in Hollywood (the LA sessions mainly for Travis's drums). "We took long dinner breaks, ate Sombrero burritos, watched Family Guy and Mr. Show, and laughed way too hard," recalled Mark in 2013.
